In Arizona Group Health insurance consists of two or more employees from a single plan provider. Group plans are normally exempt from underwriting conditions that would otherwise be considered a denial on an individual plan. However, because of this they are normally more expensive. Additional maternity benefits are covered on a group plan normally without any conditions at all.
If there are multiple pre-existing conditions a group plan would be the best option if the individual is self-employed.
